Jesus Christ disciples found Jesus Christ praying (Mark 1:35-36) Jesus with his
disciples came down the mountain to a level place on
the side of it and started healing people of all sorts of sicknesses in
the minds, the bodies,

Christ with power of God drove out those that had devils living in their minds.

All of that was to show that Jesus Christ is the son of God, God in

the hope that the people will believe in his name and so be saved.

Beatitudes - Luke
6:20-23 -

5:2-12) -
a) Jesus
Teachings Begins -
Luke's story of The Beatitudes are just a little different than Matthew's
regarding the beatitudes since
Luke was not there with Jesus Christ, but instead he
got this info from a third party. Jesus Christ just got done healing countless
numbers of people's (Luke 6:19-20)
and started telling his disciples the Blessings (the Beatitudes)
b) Luke
6:20 (Matthew
5:3)- Blessed
are you poor. For yours is the kingdom of God. -
This is the believers to which walks in humility
realizing that they are not deserving of salvation,
that they are wretched by all measures, that they only deserve hell rather than
heaven, and these are those that does receive the blessing of the new covenant (Salvation)
and will see the glory of God revealed to them with his holy truths that they
will learn and know him more than anyone on earth.
c) Luke
6:21a (Matthew 5:6) - Blessed
are you that hunger, for you will be filled -
These believers will strongly desire the things of
God, the will of God and his Holy Ways. They will also
desire to live pure, Holy and righteous lives in every way possible.
They will also have a deep longing to be with God in
Jesus Christ in his eternal dwelling. And those who desire such things shall be
filled as being content in their spiritual lives, in their every day lives, they
will not longer be in desire the things of
this wicked world because of their desires of
righteousness and Holiness, to where the affairs of this world will no longer be
of importance to them.
d) Luke
6:21b (Matthew
5:4) - Blessed
are you who weep now,. For you shall laugh. -
These are those who grieve over their sinful
condition, over their lack of spiritual life because
of their sins, their weak flesh that has separated them selves from the
blessings
of God, that holds back their relationship with him.
As Jesus said; the flesh is weak, but the spirit is willing. But those believers
who mourn God will bless them by comforting them, and reinsuring them of his
grace & mercy, of their salvation. They also mourn over the wicked conditions
of this world as well for it is all darkness.
e) Luke
6:22 (Matthew
5:10) - Blessed
are you when men hate you, and when they exclude you, and revile you and cast
out your name
as evil, for the son of mans sake -
These are those who try to live Godly lives, that separate their selves from the
world and its wicked ways, that share their faith with others will be
persecuted in one form or another, they will be excluded, hated, and treated as
they are the holier than thy at least, if not also called every dirty name in
the book, kept from job opportunities and so on. And they that are persecuted
will achieve salvation, "The Kingdom of God" and God via Jesus Christ will abide
in them and they in him.
f) Luke
6:23 -
(Matthew 5:11-12)
- Rejoice in that day and leap for
Joy! For your reward is great in heaven, for in like manner their
fathers did to the prophets. -
But do not fret over the persecution that you receive for this verifies that you
are of Gods truths, a disciple of Jesus Christ, and that you are just as
persecuted as they did Gods prophets and disciples, apostles etc. But if the
world likes you is when you really should world for you are like the world
instead of like Jesus Christ who was hated and still is hated by most of the
world!
