1)
What
does it mean "Opinion?" Now let us take a biblical and word meaning look at this
vital topic -
a) Definitions
1) MSN Dictionary - "Opinion"
- personal
view: the view somebody takes about an issue,
especially when it
is based solely on personal judgment.
b)
Nave's Topical Bible - "Opinion,
Public" -
(Summary) - 1)
Fear; Opinions
influenced by others opinions
leads can lead to corruption, as in the case of Herod's wife wanting the head of John Baptist &
Herod
worried about his guest
opinions about him, to which
Herod went against his better
judgment
2)
Concessions to; because
of a persons fear of others,
they pass the buck to others
such as what the
blind mans
parents did when he was healed.
3) Corruption
Yielding to;
Mankind's personal opinions (views & judgments) that does not stay in-line with Gods Holy Words and his commandments,
through out history! That my friend has caused many false doctrines, sins
and great evils in this world!
The wicked people twist and
malign Gods Holy Words like the
devil did when he tempted Eve
and tried to tempt Jesus
Christ! That all started with
Eve not listening to God, but
instead she listened to the
serpent that satan used to
deceive her. Sin starts with
mankind ignoring God and his
Holy Words, or twisting Gods
Holy Words to suite mankind's
own evil desires.
And when we ignore,
misunderstand or twist Gods Holy
Words, then sin grows until it
comes into full
bloom.
But
instead of a beautiful red rose,
it instead turns into a very
black and dark rose, the rose of
death. As it is written; The wages of sin is death. Gods grace never gives us permission to sin, as it is
written; Jude 4 For
certain men whose condemnation
was written about long ago have
secretly slipped in
among you. They are godless men, who
change the grace of our God into
a license for immorality
and
deny Jesus Christ our
only Sovereign and Lord.
2) They
Didn't Listen to God, they
Sinned (Gen 2:17 & 3:1-11) -
My friend when Eve first decided to listen to the serpent, a tool
of satan, instead of remembering
and listening to Gods Holy Words (Gen 2:17)
like so many people of today do,
even those in the churches, is
how and when she committed the
worlds first sin.. She listened
to the serpent (via satans)
opinions, and then she gave into
the temptation of developing her
own opinion and the lust of her
eyes to which she went against
God and His Holy Words.
You see my friend, in (Gen 3:1) the
serpent (via satans) opinions
got Eve to question Gods Holy
Words and
reject them by saying
to her
"Has
God indeed said, 'You shall not
eat of every tree of the
garden'?"
satan
started twisting words of
what God has actually said to
Adam and Eve. Friend God did
tell Adam and Eve to not eat of
this tree, a certain tree "The
Tree of Knowledge of good and
Evil, for in the day that you
eat of it you shall surely die".
The serpent (via satan) got Eve
to doubt Gods Holy Words and
question God in her own heart,
and he, the
serpent was twisting
some of the scriptures around as
well to suit his evil intent.
The serpent (via satan) was also
speaking of a physical death,
not the spiritual death, but God
meant a physical and a spiritual
death, a separation from him, a
division between mankind and
him, because God knew that if
mankind had the same knowledge
as he has, that mankind would
use that knowledge for evil
instead of for good.
For example if we never heard of a cuss word, then would we still
cuss if we did not know what
cussing was?
If we never heard
of money, nor material items, would we then become greedy? If we never heard
of or
knew about lustfulness,
would we lust? Those are just
some
rough examples. Knowledge can be
used for
good or evil, but
unfortunately most prefers to
use knowledge for evil. And
without the knowledge of good
and evil we would have allot
more peaceful and content lives
than we have in today's times.
Now lets continue, the serpent (via satan) himself used truth
alright, some truth and twisted
it all around and got Eve to
want to have the same wisdom &
knowledge of God , to be like
God her self (Gen
3:5-6). That
sounds like so many people, men
and women of today times
now doesn't it my friend? Friend man
(husbands) usually follows (his wife) woman
like Adam followed Eve instead
of telling Eve not to listen to the serpent and not to eat of the tree!
So friend Eve
handed some fruit to her husband
and he ate because he listened
to his wife, her opinion, her
ideas instead of listening to God and remember
Gods Holy commands
regarding the
tree of Knowledge of
Good and
Evil. So this caused Adam to sin as well as Eve sinned because just as
the serpent (via satan)
tempted
Eve to Sin, Eve tempted Adam her husband to sin and both of them gave into sin and rejected God
and
his Holy Words, his Holy
Commands in doing so.
Then by questioning God and wanting to be like gods them selves and instead
of listening to God and obeying,
they listened to another, the
serpent and then THE
BIRTH OF EVIL WAS BORN!
3) Their
Opinions & Ideas
a) Adam
Listened (Adams Developed
Opinion/Thinking) to his
Wife Eves
opinion, She
caused him to sin
against God,
he wanted
to be god himself - (Gen 3:12)
b) Eve
Listened (Eves Developed
Opinion/Thinking)
listened to the serpents
opinion, (via satan) that
caused her to sin, she wanted to
be god herself -
(Gen 3:13)
c) Satan
Listened to his self (Opinion/Thinking)
so satan is and was bent on evil
trying to destroy the work
of
God with his own
opinions/thinking by using a
serpent as his tool for evil by
wanting to
be god himself (Gen
3:1-5)
4) Their
Punishment for not listening to
God
-These Punishments Haven't Changed!
a) The
Serpent (Not
satan himself) - The snake shall
crawl on its belly, it had legs,
and eat dust all the days
of its
life and he shall bruise (strike) mankind's heal and mankind's heal shall bruise
(step on) the serpents
head,
enmity between mankind & snake (Gen 3:14-15)
b) Woman shall
have great pain in childbirth,
She shall desire her Husband,
and her husband shall rule over
her (Gen
3:16)
c) Because
of Man,
the ground is cursed and with
hard labor he shall grow his
crops and such and shall eat
of
it, and mankind shall
physically die and return to the
ground to which he came from (Gen
3:17-19)
d) Summary of
They Didn't Listen to God, they
Sinned (Gen 2:17 &
3:1-11)
- satan tempted Eve and she
first sinned when she listened
to
someone else the serpent that
tempted her to have her own
opinions
separate from Gods Holy
Words, a disobedience that
caused her to sin and then Adam
listened to Eves, his wife's
developed opinions to which he
also gained his own opinions
that caused his disobedience to
God that was separate from Gods
Holy Words as well and caused
Adam to sin.
DO YOU SEE
OF HOW DANGEROUS IT IS TO HAVE
OUR OWN OPINIONS
THAT IS NOT
INLINE WITH GODS HOLY
WORDS, AND HIS GUIDANCE? So we
should never reject or
ignore
his Holy Words and we shall
study them and learn his actual
meanings!
5) Our
Words More Important than Gods
Words? (Gen 1:1) & Who
created the Mute ... Etc? (Ex 4:11)
My friend, are our words more
important than Gods words? Was
it our words, (opinions/ideas)
that created
all that you see,
all that you hear? Where was we
when God created the heavens and
the earth? How can we
for one
moment think that our opinions
are more valuable than Gods? We
can not even dare to live as
though
we think our opinions &
words are more important than
Gods opinions and words!
Who
are we to not listen to Gods
Holy Words (Bible) and his
servants, the Prophets,
Apostles, Pastors and
today's
messengers that he has sent to
teach and guide us? How do we
dare to pick and chose of what
scriptures to accept and what scriptures to reject? Have we
been given authority to rewrite
the Holy Bible to
suite our own
desires to which are evil?
As it is written; 2
Timothy 3:116 All
Scripture is given by
inspiration of God,
and is profitable for
doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness, 17
that the man of God may be
complete, thoroughly equipped
for every good work.
And then as God has said to
Moses Exodus
4:11 So the Lord said to him,
"Who has made man's mouth? Or
who makes the mute, the deaf,
the seeing, or the blind? Have
not I, the Lord?
My Friend our opinions, and
ideas must always line up with
Gods Holy Words (The Bible), and
not line up
with our selves nor
the opinions of the world. Nor
shall we read nor listen to
those self help books either
just
as Eve has listened to the
serpent and Adam listened to his
wife that caused them to
question and reject Gods
Holy
Words, to which caused them to
do Evil and give Birth to Evil
that infected the rest of
mankind with all
sorts of evils.
Friend do you see more of how
dangerous it is to have our own
opinions that does not line up
with
Gods Holy Words? Our
Opinions can get God very angry
at us and punish us very severe.
6) Live
on Every word of God (MT 4:3)
- Now my friend satan with his
own wicked trickeries & opinions
waited until after 40 days of
Jesus
Christ fasting, & when Jesus was
at his weakest point with
physical
exhaustion, hunger,
lonely, and poor. Satan tried to
get Jesus to even question who
he even was, that is the
Son of
God even though satan knew who
Jesus Christ was. Satan tried
to get Jesus to give into the
pride of
life, his own needs and
trust in his own feelings.
But Jesus did not give into
those temptations but instead
responded back to satan with
scripture
(Deuteronomy
8:3)
that is about the Jews being
humbled by eating a unusual
food, manna and that they are
to
pay more attention to living by
every word that God speaks to
which is more important than our
needs of
this life including
food and our lives as well. So
by Jesus Christ not giving into satan Jesus keeps himself
humble
and away from the pride of life.
It is the will of God and the
Holy Words of God that Jesus
obeyed and concerned with rather
than his own
personal comforts
and needs as so should we be as
well. You will \notice that the
other 2 temptations that
satan
has tempted Jesus with is
similar in trying to get Jesus
to give into the pride of Life
and against the Holy Words of
God and Gods Holy Will.
Friend, we are called to be
Christ Like, so since Christ
obeyed the Holy Words and Holy
Will of
God, shouldn't we as
well? So Beware of anything that
works against the will of God,
the things of
God and the ways
of God! Beware of worldly and
carnal things, as it is written;
Jesus said we must
worship God
in Truth and in Spirit! We must
have in mind the things of God
and not the things of
men as
Jesus said to Peter, Matthew
16:23 "Get
behind Me, Satan! You are an
offense to Me, for you
are not
mindful of the things of God,
but the things of men."
7)
Listen
to Jesus Christ (MT 17:5)
- In Matthew
17:5 did
God tell the 3 disciples to
listen to their selves,
their
creative imaginations or to
other people? NO!
He did not! God
told them to listen to his Son
Jesus
Christ! Notice that the
disciples instead of listening
to Christ they were listening to
them selves and coming
up with
ideas such as building shelters
for Jesus, Moses and Elijah. You
see how listening to our selves,
and our own imaginations we
overlook the teachings of Jesus
Christ, his reasons, purposes
and messages?
And so many
preachers/Christians and
churches of today come up with
their own inventions (modern
evangelism) instead of going
strictly by scriptures and their
meanings!
So my friends BEWARE of
man
made invented and creative
ideas that is not inline with
the Teachings of Jesus Christ.
And do not forget that Jesus
Christ preached AGAINST manmade
teachings (commandments) and
traditions and manmade
inventive
ideas!
BUT REMEMBER THAT JUST
CHRIST DID NOT PREACH AGAINST
GODS
COMMANDMENTS AT ANY
TIME!!!!!!!
8) Do
not Lean on Your Understanding (Pr 3:5) - This is
where our opinion again will be
dangerous for us to
have, if
they do not line
up with Gods Holy Words and His
Holy Ways! Our Hearts and
thinking can lead us to hell
rather than heaven! We can not
trust our own hearts nor our own
thinking. Many times they have
deceived us and just because we
are saved, that don't mean that
our thinking and hearts can't
deceive us again.
We must not
listen to our selves, our ways
but instead listen to the Lords
ways and try to understand our
Lord God more than ever. If we
listen to our selves and think
we are wise, then we become
fools and we
will not be doing
the ways of our Lord God, but
instead we will be rebellious,
making our selves out to be
our
own gods, and seek our own ways
instead and in that we will be
deceived and fall into the same
evil
traps as the devil and end
up going to the lake of fire as
the devil will.
Again do you see of how
dangerous our own opinions and
understanding can be not only to
our
current life but to our
eternal life as well?
9) The
heart is deceitful (Jer 17:9) - Even
our Lord says Jeremiah
17:9 The
heart is deceitful above all
things,
and desperately sick;
who can
understand it? .... So can you
trust your own heart, or even
your own mind?
No you can not
and neither can I trust mine
either. So then what do we do
know and what can we say?
Especially since our Lord also
says Jeremiah 17:5 Thus
says the Lord: "Cursed is the
man who trusts in man
and makes
flesh his strength, whose heart
turns away from the Lord.
So since we can not trust our
selves nor can we trust mankind
then who can we trust and rely
on? It is only
our Lord and his
Holy Words (The Bible) that we
can always trust on! As our
Lord says Jeremiah
39:18
For
I will surely save you, and you
shall not fall by the sword, but
you shall have your life as a
prize of war,
because you have
put your trust in me, declares
the Lord.'"
So then let us first search and
study the scriptures before we
develop any beliefs or ideas
about anyone or
anything. And if
we do that we will NEVER BE
WRONG! But if we rely on our
selves or others, we will
always
be wrong and be against our Lord
rather than for our Lord with
our own opinions, beliefs, that
is
ideas and such! As Jesus
said MT
12:30 Whoever
is not with me is against me,
and whoever does not
gather with
me scatters.
So then when a thought comes to
your mind or when we get certain
feelings can we trust them? Of
course
we can not, especially if
our thoughts and feelings are
not in line with scriptures.
Some will say the Holy
Spirit
says to me for example, (without
the scripture backing it up)
this or that (roughly
speaking). For one
the Holy
Spirit WILL NEVER go against
Gods Holy Words, nor will the
Holy Spirit ever encourage is
not
to read and study Gods Holy
Words (the Bible), or go
against, Gods Will, or purpose
or pleasure ever! So
if our
thoughts and feelings are
against what the Bible says and
means then it is not the Holy
Spirit that is
guiding us, it is
most likely either a demonic
spirit or our own wicked selfish
desires.
So Friend do you see once
against of how dangerous our own
opinions can be? That is our own
hearts and
minds? WE CAN NOT
TRUST OUR HEARTS NOR OUR MINDS
NOW CAN WE???!!!! Our own
opinions can and for many does
lead them to Hell Rather than to
Heaven!
10) Carnal
Mind is Enmity towards God (Rm 8:6-9) -
Not Everyone Who Says to me Lord
Lord,
MT 7:21-23) - If we then
embrace
our own opinions that is
contrary to Gods Holy Words then
we are
being carnal minded (i.e.
worldly) rather than spiritual
minded and it is the carnal
mind, that keeps sin
working in
the flesh rather than the spirit
of God. Such a person does not
have the spirit of Christ living
in
them if they would rather sin
and be worldly rather than
spirit.
And that person is
actually an enemy of God rather
than a servant or a child of
God. The "their Opinions"
does
not lead them to God but rather
far away from God regardless of
how much they say they believe
in
Jesus Christ. Even the
demons believe that Jesus Christ
is the "Son of God" and yet the
demons will never
see heaven in
this lifetime nor the next.
It is the persons opinions,
ideas etc that will determine of
the person will embrace the
things of God or
embrace the
things of this world, and so if
they embrace the things of this
world then they have carnal
minds
and are enemies of God
without any doubt or
reservations on the matter. And
yet many who say they
believe in
Christ are no better than many
of the Pharisees who say they
believe in God and yet many of
them
will never see Heaven
either because of their love of
the world, their pride and self
seeking sinful ways rather
than
embrace the ways of God that is
contrary to this world and its
thinking, its ways!
So then how can we even think
that we are of God if our minds
are set on the things of this
world, its evils
and wicked
ways? We can not be of God
unless we have in mind the
things of God! We can not and
should never incorporate the
things of this wicked world into
the things of God, if we do then
we are being
worldly and carnal
minded rather than spiritual
minded, rather than the things
of God in our minds and our
hearts!
11) True
Worshippers, John
4:23-24 -
My friend as Jesus Christ our
Lord tells us that the kind of
worshippers
seeks are those who
worship
him in truth and in spirit and
yet when one of Gods servants
brings the people
his message of
truth then why do they fight
against it? I am referring to
those that says Jesus is their
Lord my friend. And some of
them say they are led by the
Holy Spirit and yet what they
say does not line up with
scriptures and Gods ways.
These that hate the truth when one of Gods servants brings it to
them are the tares, the weeds
that Jesus
Christ speaks of. And
those that say they are led by
Gods Spirit, and yet what they
say is against Gods
words and
ways, those are led by a
completely different spirit, NOT
the spirit of God by any means!
Those
people with their
own personal OPINIONS has
greatly deceived them selves
thinking they are of Christ and
yet they are not. They know not
the scriptures of God and
especially they know not the
teachings of our
Lord Jesus
Christ nor does Jesus Christ
know them!
12) Jews
Didn't Listen to God or Christ, Various Scriptures of OT & NT - During Jesus Christ times, during
his 3 1/2 years
of ministry many of Jews thought
them selves to be close to God,
and pleasing to him, even
the
church leaders, Pharisees and
Sadducees. Many times the Jews valued their own OPINIONS more
than Gods words because
they kept sinning and
intentionally disobeying God
over and over to the point that
Jesus Christ sent Paul to the
Gentiles to make the Jews
jealous. Time and time again
the Jews rejected God, they even
killed Gods Prophets as well.
And then they killed our Lord
Jesus Christ through the Roman
power, and then they killed many
of Christians and some disciples
to top that off.
As God has said they are a stiff
necked people. In today's times
the New Testament church is no
different
that the Old testament
Church. The churches of today
with their new found movements,
their new creative
ideas of
so-called evangelizing has also
rejected Gods Holy Ways the
Biblical ways of bringing the
Lost to
Christ. There are so
between differences of opinions
on scriptures with
the denominational and
independent churches it just
blows my mind. And that my
friend not only creates strife
and division in the body of
Christ, that God hates those
that create strife among the
brothers and sisters.
In today's times so many of
church leaders, elders and
Christians are very Biblically
stupid. That's right
STUPID!
They know not Gods words nor do
they understand them because satan has sent many of weeds
into bible colleges as teachers,
deans and such. And through
that many of wolves have gone
out into the
Christian Church,
Organizations and communities to
deceive the people and draw
people away from the true
teachings of Christ.
And so
since many of congregations only
want their ears tickled and
believe in a different Jesus, a
different
Gospel and a different
spirit many are ripe for being
brain washed with tons of lies regarding Jesus Christ him
self
of who Christ really is.
AGAIN
YOU SEE HOW DANGEROUS IT IS TO HAVE PERSONAL OPINIONS OUT SIDE
OF
GODS HOLY WORDS!
God has sent them a strong
delusion as it written; 2
Thessalonians 2:11 Therefore God sends them a
strong
delusion, so that they
may believe what is false, 12 in
order that all may be condemned
who did not believe
the truth
but had pleasure in
unrighteousness.
God Sent them a Strong
Delusion;
