1) Proverbs
6:16
There are six things the Lord
hates, seven that are
detestable to Him:
(Teaching)
- Friend if we practice the
things that is an abomination to
God, we will bring his Holy
Anger and
wrath
upon us and the punishment can
be very severe to say the least.
It is written; Hebrews
10:31 It is a
terrifying thing to fall into
the hands of the living God..
Friend God is not to be mocked (Gal
6:7).
Only the
foolish mock God (Pr
14:9) and
that mockery is hatred towards
God! And if you show hatred
towards God,
then
how can you even think to your
self that you are saved and God
will bless you when in reality
God will
actually display his anger
towards you, or just totally
turn his back upon you?
2) Proverbs
6:17 (A) Haughty
eyes,
(Teaching) - The word "Haughty"
in MSN
Works 9 Dictionary means
a person who is condescending,
behaving n a
superior, condescending or
arrogant way. So friend we
should never think of our selves
more
than we actually are (Romans
12:3)
or as if we deserve salvation
more than others as if we had
something to
boast about (1
Corinthians 1:27-31)
as if it was by our own effort (Gal
3:3)
instead of the effort of Jesus
Christ, that we are saved
rather than saved by Gods Holy
Grace and mercy (Romans
3:24).
Friend we must remember to where
we once were, where we first
came from. We to were once
sinners
(Gal
2:17),
we were lost, under the curse of
the law because of our sinful
and wicked ways. So how can we
think
of our selves as something, when
in reality we are nothing?
How can we be better than the
thief, the
murderer or even the rapist?
We deserve the same punishment
and justice (The Lake of Fire)
as they do.
Didn't
Jesus say that he came to call
the sinners and not the
righteous (Matthew
9:13)
to repentance?.
3) Proverbs
6:17 (B) a
lying tongue,
(Teaching) - There are
those in our modern churches and
societies who says "It Just a
White Lie and
Harmless".
Really? Is that what God says?
Is there any harmless lies?
Is that possible? GOD
FORBID NO!
A lie is a
lie.
There is no greater or lesser
lie than another! Sin is
sin! There is no white washing
of sin!
It is written; 1
Timothy 4:2 by means of the hypocrisy
of liars seared in their own
conscience as
with a
branding iron, NASU.
ALL LIARS will have their place
in the lake of fire (1Timothy
1:10, Rev 21:8).
Do
not any longer bear false
witness as well to which is
another form of a lie.
4) Proverbs
6:17 (C) hands
that shed innocent blood,
(Teaching) - MSN
Dictionary Meaning
of "Murder", crime
of killing somebody: the
crime of killing
another
person deliberately and not in
self-defense or with any other
extenuating circumstance
recognized by law. Friend I pray
to God that you do not have
innocent blood on your hands!
This scripture deals with
murdering anyone,
including abortion except in the
case of military action, self
defense or as ordained by
God
himself such as when Joshua
attacked Jericho (Joshua
6:1-5).
Those people were not deemed
innocent according to God.
But if have shed innocent blood
your self such
as
abortions or other forms of
murder, you are not to bad in
order to be forgiven if you
repent (grieve/be
remorseful
over your sins), deny your self
(Surrender All), pick up your
cross (Share in the persecutions
of
Jesus Christ) and
follow Jesus Christ (Abide in
Him) (Luke
9:23-26).
5) Proverbs
6:18 (A) a
heart that devises wicked schemes,
(Teaching) -
If you think in your own heart
and mind to desire to or wish to
intentionally harm a person or a
group of people & and make plans
to so in one form or another
because of your own personal
revenge, or
agenda (other sins), rather than
loving your neighbor (MT
22:39)
as Jesus Christ has commanded us
to do
and your
enemy (MT
5:44)
and do good to them (Luke
6:17-36),
the wicked person hates their
enemies and
wish to do
them harm in some way. You
have already committed murder in
your heart if you have anger in
your heart
towards others without just
cause (MT
5:21-24).
6) Proverbs
6:18
(B) Feet
that are quick to rush into
evil,
(Teaching) -
Those that are quick to do evil
can be heading towards picking
someone up at bar and having
out of
marriage sex with them. It
can be someone who tries to get
their coworker fired. It can be
someone in
a hurry to
watch a movie that they should
not be watching, it can be
sneaking out of the parents
house at night. This
scripture is the action that a
wicked person does according to
what is already in their minds
and heart as stated in the
above scripture and Teaching.
Friend that person will reap
what they have sown.
It is written; Galatians
6:7-10 7 Do
not be deceived, God
is not mocked; for whatever a
man sows, this he
will also
reap. 8 For
the one who sows to his own
flesh will from the flesh reap corruption,
but the
one who
sows to the
Spirit will from the
Spirit reap eternal life. 9 Let
us not lose heart in doing good,
for in due time
we will reap if we do
not grow weary.10 So
then, awhile
we have opportunity, let us do
good to all people,
and
especially to those
who are of the household of the
faith.
NASU
7) Proverbs
6:19 (A) A
false witness who utters lies,
(Teaching)
- These are people who gossips
about others with no truth in
their gossips, they stretch the
truth
intentionally, and who makes
false statements regarding other
people. Gossip is a sin in it
self but lying when
gossiping is adding sins on to
the one who is sinning by
gossiping. This my friend
is a major problem with-in
the
Christian churches and Christian
communities. Many of
people has had their reputations
ruined by these
false
witnesses.
Anyone who gives a false
testimony regarding others "IS"
bearing false witness about
those people. Some
people
has even had their entire lives
ruined by those false witnesses
as well. The tongue can be
an evil
instrument of
satan and does more harm to
people that most things in this
world actually can do.
It is written; James
3:5-6 See
how great a forest is set aflame
by such a small fire! 6 And the
tongue is a fire, the very world
of iniquity; the tongue is set
among our members as that which defiles
the entire body, andsets
on fire
the course of our life,
and is set on fire by hell. NASU
So my friend let us bridle our
tongues (James
1:26-27)
to keep our tongues from evil (1
Peter 3:10).
If we
don't bridle
our tongues to keep our tongues
from evil then the "LORDS
FACE WILL
BE AGAINST US"
(1
Peter 3:12)
and our religion will be
worthless and we deceive our
selves thinking our selves to be
religious
when
we are clearly not (1
Peter 3:26-27).
8) Proverbs
6:19 (B) And
one who spreads strife among
brothers.
(Teaching)
- This is done through those who
are busy bodies, who are idle
that leads to much evil in ways
of
whisperings, slander to which is
in direct relationship to
gossiping and bearing false
witness, falsely accusing some one
with out any facts to base their
statements on. And it is also those who argue
over things and words that are
really not important enough to
start a war over
per
say (1Timothy
6:3-5).
They are people who strives on
debating and arguing over
useless things to lift their
selves up
rather than lift others up.
They
are the weeds/Tars that satan
has planted in the churches that
Jesus has warned us about (MT
13:25 and MT
13:38-39).
Then there are those who are
full of empty words meant to try
and deceive you (Eph
5:6-14). 20 My
son, observe the commandment of
your father And do not forsake
the teaching of your mother;
