Definitions
Before
continuing;
We need to
remember the meaning of the
following words a) "New
Testament"
and "Covenant"
as follows;
a) New Testament & Covenant;
From Fausset's Bible Dictionary;
Hebrew
briyt,
Greek
diatheekee.
From
baarah
"to
divide"
or"
cut in two"
a
victim (Gesenius), between the
parts
of
which the
covenanting
parties
passed (Genesis
15:9,
etc.;
Jeremiah 34:18-19).
Probably the
covenanting
parties
eating
together (which barah
sometimes
means)
of
the
feast
after the
sacrifice
entered into the idea;
compare
Genesis 31:46-47,
Jacob
and
Laban.

Why is it called the New
Testament? - The
collection of twenty seven
books is "NEW" in contrast
to
the "OLD" Testament.
It is also called the New
Testament because when Jesus

Get to know God
Personally--by
studying the
New Testament. -
The Old Testament helps to
understand
what God is like. The New
Testament shows us how we
can have a personal
relationship with God right
now. When we have a personal
relationship with Jesus we
can find fulfillment by
loving God and loving other
people.(

Jesus Christ came to reveal
the True God to us, and the
secrets of his kingdom, to
his disciples )Born Again Christians-The Elect) not to everybody. (MT 11:27,
13:11).
